Cold knife cone biopsy

If you read this blog, you'll recall a previous post about me having pre cervical cancer cells.  Well, the game plan was to have a cold knife cone biopsy after the baby was born.  I had it done today. Doctor said I bled more than she would have liked & they couldn't get a handle on it. She was not able to get all of it & we decided to let pathology take its course & do another pap in June to see where it is & will do another LEAP procedure then if need be to get the rest of it. If I were to get pregnant again, I would need a stitch to keep the baby from falling out or delivering too early. I feel great & all is well, although with all the medicine & complications it was a week or so before I was really back to normal.  Still no cancer which is the reason for the LEAP's & cone biopsy to keep me from getting it.

Steven Lane is born!

Baby Lane came into the world 2 days late in the late afternoon of Jan 10. It was only 16 minutes of pushing & about 7 or so hours total which proves what I've heard that 2nd babies come faster & in shorter time. Steven is for Jon's dad Steve Driggers & Lane is for my mom Marlana Lewis. Both died too young & soon for us but I know they love their namesake from Heaven!

Decorating the tree

We got our tree early this year as well as the Christmas cards & gifts bought & wrapped since we don't know when baby will come. Spenser put the star on top of the tree this year!

I like how they are both in almost the same pose!

So proud!

1860's house

While we were in Alabama, we found this house for sale. I love an old southern plantation & have always wanted to see the inside of a house like this. Luckily it was open so we went exploring. It was awesome!!!
